Four season room with wall-to-wall windows built by Willow Outdoor

3/4 Season Rooms Stretch Your Seasons

Three season rooms with premium window walls, or fully insulated four season rooms with heating and cooling — one builder, both options.

Built to Last Two Ways to Enjoy the View

A three season room uses premium window systems to block wind, rain, pollen, and bugs without full insulation or HVAC. It is comfortable from early spring through late fall, and it costs meaningfully less than a conditioned room — the sweet spot for most homeowners.

A four season room is real, insulated square footage: energy-efficient windows, insulated walls and roof, and heating and cooling that keep the space livable in a January snow or a July heat wave. Because it is a conditioned addition, it adds appraisable living area to your home.

We build both, and we help you choose during design — not after. Every room starts as a full 3D walkthrough, moves through engineering and city permits as standard protocol, and is built by our dedicated crew. Approximately 75% of our projects are completed in under three weeks.

Questions Frequently Asked

A three season room uses window systems without full insulation or HVAC, making it comfortable spring through fall at a lower cost. A four season room is fully insulated with heating and cooling, so it is usable every day of the year and adds appraisable square footage to your home.

If you want a bug-free, weather-protected space for most of the year at the best value, a three season room is usually the answer. If you want a room that lives like the rest of your house — and counts as finished living area — go four season. We price both during design so you can compare honestly.

Very often, yes. If the structure is sound, window systems can replace the screens directly. We evaluate the framing and roof, reinforce what needs it, and quote the conversion — free.

On mild winter days, absolutely — the window walls block wind and trap sunshine. It is not insulated or heated like a four season room, so deep-winter comfort is not guaranteed. Space heaters extend the season considerably.

Spencer and his crew were great. They screened in our porch, installed pavers for a grilling area, and also created a privacy fence for our pool equipment. The team was very meticulous and well organized. Communication was really good and kept us up to date on when to expect each phase of the project. I would definitely recommend.

Spencer and the Willow Outdoor team are exceptional to work with. Spencer transformed our twenty-five-year-old deck and backyard into a vibrant extension of our home. The quality of materials and the level of craftsmanship set the Willow Outdoor team apart from the other four companies we interviewed for this project. Many thanks to Spencer and his team for successfully executing our vision. We would highly recommend the Willow Outdoor Team for any sized project!
